Sam Thatcher qualifies for the 2018 Cocker Spaniel Championship...

We are absolutely delighted to report that Sam Thatcher, who we proudly sponsor, won the Hampshire Gundog Society Open Cocker Trial on Monday 18th December with OFTW Windwithe Solitaire of Strigidae (Eddy). What a fabulous result and an early Christmas present for Sam & Eddy, who have now qualified for the 2018 Cocker Spaniel Championship!
Sam and Eddy have had an incredible season, only qualifying out of novice on Tuesday 21st November, winning their first novice trial - the Kintbury Novice Cocker Trial at Eling Park. Following this, they secured 2nd place in the Dove Valley Working Gundog Club's Cocker Spaniel Open Stake for 18 Dogs on December 12th.
From novice to the championships within a month! Well done Sam, the hard work you put in is definitely paying off and we are thrilled to be supporting you and your dogs. The 88th Cocker Spaniel Championship will be held at Sandringham Estate, by kind permission of Her Majesty The Queen, on 8 & 9 January 2018. Good luck Sam & Eddy!
